The Invitation
I invite you to gift yourself a long weekend of self-love, self-discovery and sisterhood as you journey towards a fulfilling life and a happy, healthy relationship. I invite you to take a well-deserved break from your routine and your surroundings, to immerse yourself in spectacular coastal scenery, to reconnect with yourself and your heart's desires and to uncover and remove the blocks that stand in the way of you realising your dreams in all areas of your life. I invite you to walk through your fears, take a leap of faith and invest in yourself and your future, trusting that if you take care of yourself, you will be taken care of. The Offering
You will stay in a beautiful ensuite single or twin bedroom in our exclusive accommodation, Beach Lodge, which is a few minutes walk from the beach in Southbourne-on-Sea, between Bournemouth and Christ Church, in Dorset. There, you'll be invited to step inside and take courageous steps forward on your personal development journey. In our comfortable living room, I will host coaching circles and facilitate reflective and insightful exercises to support you to do the following:
* Form a deeper and more loving relationship with yourself
* Accept and love yourself wholeheartedly
* Improve your connection to your intuition so that you can make better, more authentic decisions in life and love
* Grow in self-esteem, confidence and emotional resilience
* Understand your blocks to finding a healthy romantic relationship and/or a fulfilling, abundant and joyful life
* Identify your fears and how they contribute to self-defeating patterns in life and love
* Understand how to overcome your blocks and walk through your fears
* Let go of any unhelpful patterns, people or core beliefs that are standing in your way
The retreat is limited to 10 places, allowing for an intimate feel and enabling me to understand your unique challenges and offer individual support within the group coaching circle. My coaching is powerful as the following feedback attests:

Alongside transformational group coaching sessions, there will be love, laughter and, going by my previous retreats, some healing tears. I am confident that you will leave the retreat with more hope, greater self-awareness, tools to help you achieve your dreams, a clearer vision for your future and some wonderful friends. Previous retreat participants continue to speak, meet and support each other years down the line. Once the retreat ends, you will be invited to join my How to Fall in Love Collective Facebook group, where you can continue to receive support from me, your fellow retreat participants and other women who are on the same path.
You will also be encouraged to soak up the beauty of our stunning seaside surroundings on beach walks and sea swims (cold water immersion is optional but highly recommended!).

Lunches and dinners will be prepared lovingly by Rachel Close, a wonderful caterer, artist, yoga teacher and friend, who has provided delicious meals for many of my previous retreats, to excellent reviews.
Meals will be mostly plant-based with some chicken and fish options. We can cater for most dietary requirements if advised in advance.

Bonus #1 - Seaside Sauna
Bask in an authentic Finnish wood-fired sauna located on Sandbanks beach. Intersperse your sauna with refreshing sea dips. This will help you to release toxins and deeply relax.
The sauna is located next to the beach with incredible views over the sand and out to the sea. Believe me - it's a fabulous experience! |
Bonus #2 - Beach Yoga
Sabrina Amar will host a silent beach yoga session exclusively for our small group. What is silent yoga? We wear headphones and listen to an uplifting soundtrack as we practise yoga on the sand, finishing off with some dance tracks as we dip our toes, or our entire bodies, in the sea. The session will be specifically tailored to us and will combine beautifully with the themes of the retreat. Sabrina's yoga session will offer an opportunity to strengthen and flex your body and your mind, to feel more grounded and centred and to feel a sense of release and freedom.

About Your Host
I am the author of How to Fall in Love - A 10-Step Journey to the Heart (Soul & Surf) and the creator and host of The Love Retreat as well as the transformational online courses, How to Fall in Love - Laying the Foundations and Date with Courage, Clarity & Confidence. I finally fell in love in my 40s following many years of dysfunctional relationships and self-harming behaviours, including an eating disorder, compulsive work and relationships with men who weren't available or who weren't good for me. I married my husband in June 2019, aged 48.

I have been on a personal development journey for almost two decades, during with time I have healed dysfunctional relationship patterns with myself and others, invested in long-term psychotherapy and studied counselling, psychotherapy, coaching and other fields of personal growth and development. I have been supporting others on their healing journey for some 15 years and I am an intuitive, compassionate and empathetic coach and skilled group facilitator. I am committed to life-long learning.
My writing on love, relationships and connection to self has appeared in national magazines and newspapers including Red, Psychologies, Good Housekeeping, The Sunday Times and The Daily Mail and I have appeared on national radio and TV, including on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour. I have a diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy Skills from the Westminster Pastoral Foundation, a degree from Oxford University and I'm a fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
