Meet Your Midlife Mentor
|
As a life coach and midlife mentor, I support people to identify the true desires of their heart and to find the courage to follow their dreams.
If you are feeling trapped, soul dead or exhausted and if you are longing for a different rhythm and to build a life and career on your terms, I'd love to support you. I used to have a dream life on the outside - an incredible job as a political reporter for the news agency Reuters, a beautiful London flat, lots of friends, a hectic social life, and all the freedom and independence I'd ever wanted. But the reality on the inside was very different. |
My job had excited me for years but by my mid-30s, I felt soul dead, stressed and over-worked. I was also single and didn't have any children. As I approached 40, I found myself asking: How on earth did I end up here?
Slowly, I began to identify the things that made my heart sing. I began to shift my priorities. I began to have different dreams. I wanted to live by the sea, walk on the beach, work less, feel more balanced and fall in love. Some years on, I live by the sea in Dorset, I'm married to a wonderful man, I prioritise my mental and physical health and I've built a coaching practice, a speaking business and a writing career on my own terms.
Would you like help breaking free from a life you no longer love? Would you like some support to identify your goals and go for them? Would you like a mentor and cheerleader to help you design your dream life?
I would love to be that person for you. I offer a coaching relationship that will support you every step of the way.

CLIENT LOVE
“Katherine helped me build my confidence, gave me really helpful practical advice on my next steps and held my hand all the way. I now feel confident about my choices and feel like I'm properly on the path to creating a life that is more fulfilling and happier than I've ever experienced before. I feel free!” – Alex
“I would recommend Katherine’s coaching 100 percent, without a doubt. The place I’m in now compared to when I started our coaching, wow! The progress I’ve made has been immense. Before I was so low and lost. Now I feel much more balanced and at peace with myself. I understand and know myself much better and I feel much better placed ... to have a more rounded and fulfilling life” – Max
"I chose to work with Katherine as my coach for a number of reasons - in particular the combination of her professional credibility and experience with her personal integrity and honesty. She coached me through a period of change, where I'd taken a big leap into a new job and wasn't sure how to navigate both the professional and personal challenges that came with that change. It's difficult to express how great a help and support she was to me during this challenging period. She really helped me to recognise and learn some things about myself and my behaviours that helped me to navigate new (and old) situations more effectively. I feel I've come away with some new tools and a better personal understanding that has helped me in many things beyond my new job. That's the thing that is so special about Katherine - she can help on so many levels and has the right combination of emotional and intellectual intelligence to coach and support in a way that taps into what you really need, whether it's a personal or professional issue or both. I think my coaching with Katherine is one of the best investments in myself that I have ever made and I highly recommend her services" – Kathryn
“I learned so much. You pointed out things to me that I hadn’t figured out in all my years of therapy” – K.S.
"I found the session thought-provoking and inspiring – and it also produced some important epiphanies. Katherine is a natural coach. Her approach was perfect, providing the structure and safe space to delve into big ideas. Her feedback was insightful, and I came away with a whole new way of looking at where I want to be in life and how to actually get there" – Tim Large, former director of Journalism & Media Programmes, Thomson Reuters Foundation
